Do you know what your bank is doing with your money?

Some banks lend out your savings to companies that manufacture cluster bombs or cut down tropical rain forest. In contrast, other banks invest in environmentally friendly agriculture and clean energy.

The Fair Bank Guide shows (Dutch) citizens what their bank is getting up to with their money and enables them to compare banks to each other.

The Fair Bank Guide reports how banks perform on nature preservation, climate change, human rights, arms dealing, corruption and transparency.

If citizens are not happy with their (Dutch) bank, they can do something about it:

• Ask their bank to invest more responsibly.
• Send them a ‘yellow card’ to warn them.
• Sign our petition.
• Switch to a different bank.

Compare your bank

With the Fair Bank Guide, Dutch citizens are able to compare banks on their contribution to improving the world. They can use the Fair Bank Guide in three ways:
